Titov island

Located in the center of Heritage, 11 km far from Tourist Wharf, Titov island owns the attractive beach with a beautiful landscape. In January 22nd 1962, Uncle Ho and Russian Astronaut Giecman Titov visited Ha Long Bay and stayed on the island. To celebrate the friendship of two nations, Uncle Ho named Titov for the island.

Soi Sim island

Situated in the southwest of Ha Long Bay, 11 km far from Tourist Wharf. It has an area of 8.7 ha, the island has special formation with two-third area covered by feralit and red weathered soil. The island owns two beaches and the viewing station in the southeast and northwest of the island. In the past time, local people saw many “Sim” trees on the island – thus, the island is called Soi Sim. Soi Sim island now is an attractive site for visitors to enjoy its scenery, beaching and doing eco-tourism on Ha Long Bay. In the future, Soi Sim island will be one of eco- tourism centre with many small wooden guest houses, viewing station in the center of heritage.

Ba Ham Lake

Situated on Dau Be island and is 25 km far from Tourist Wharf , Ba Ham lake is famous for its beautiful scenery. There are three lakes connected by three entrances. Tourist visits this cave by the small bamboo boats. In addition, this island is rich of flora and fauna such as monkey, bird, coral reefs, shrimp, fish, orchid and palm trees, etc.

Cua Van Floating Cultural Center

Located in the Cua Van fishing village (Hung Thang ward, Ha Long city), Cua Van Floating Cultural Center is 20 km far from the south of Tourist Wharf. The center was built and completed in May of 2006. The Cua Van Floating Cultural Center belongs to the Ha Long eco - museum project where displays and introduces the files, images of Ha Long fishing community. Visiting this center, tourists will experience to the life, traditional fishing of fishermen in ha Long and enjoy typical food of the heritage area.

Tuan Chau island

It is located 4 km to the south west of the Tourist Wharf with 400 ha in area. The island owns many archeological remains that belonged to the Ha Long culture and citizens preserve traditional customs. Nowadays, Tuan Chau island has been invested to become international tourism center.
